THE WHARF
PN Hoffman’s most recent (and arguably most notable) project has been the revitalization of Southwest DC’s mile-long waterfront stretch now known as The Wharf. Steeped in history, a stone’s throw from the city’s most iconic landmark monuments, and surrounded by dazzling water views, The Wharf was a natural choice to develop and has helped reestablish DC as a premier waterfront destination.
The area’s first phase of development was completed in 2017 and features a host of amenities for locals and visitors alike to explore, from some of the city’s hottest new restaurants and year-round entertainment venues to luxury apartment, office, and retail buildings. Sustainability influenced every decision in the development of The Wharf, which was designed to preserve and protect DC’s waterways and help the community enjoy them. 14TH STREET CORRIDOR
Nearly 20 years ago, Monty Hoffman set his sights on reinventing the 14th Street Corridor and hasn’t stopped since. He bought his first building, a late 19th-century Victorian mansion, in 1996 and converted it into eight condos. Today, Monty and what is now PN Hoffman are responsible for a number of high-end residential projects peppered along 14th and U Streets, including Union Row and Northern Exchange, bringing a once struggling neighborhood back to life without compromising its history and heritage. This bustling community is now home to some of DC’s best dining, shopping, and nightlife.
ADAMS MORGAN
After digging their heels into 14th Street, PN Hoffman set their sights on transforming Adams Morgan--another eclectic, multicultural, and historic community in Northwest DC. Adams Morgan Lofts was the first project in which PN Hoffman invested with the goal of turning the neighborhood around. This calculated risk by PN Hoffman paid off, offering its residents airy apartments with high ceilings, sustainable bamboo flooring, exposed structural elements, and large factory-style windows. It today stands as an esteemed retro-warehouse masterpiece.
